So I just downloaded the Rekordbox App today (25th April 2020) - what a major mistake. Seems like a huge step backwards.
I can't connect to Rekordbox on my Mac Mini at all
And it appears they decided it would be a great idea to remove the ability to connect to a device (XDJ-RX2 in my case) via a standard USB A cable.
So I can't connect to update via Wifi and I can't connect to use the tracks to play on my controller... WTF!
Also they got rid of the quick scroll via the alphabet on the right had side in Tracks, so now you have to scroll all the way down.
Not sure what the point of the app is now!
Anyone else discovered all this too? Is there any way of going back to the old app? I tried restoring my iPhone to the last backup, but no joy with that either.

Can we have a classic edition of RB 5 on iOS that does not break compatibility to RB 5 on desktop OSes? The iOS part was part of the lifetime license, as RB 5 was advertised with the mobile feature. The updater of the desktop version of RB 5 respects the license and prevents automatic updates to a version that breaks compatibility for old license types. However this is not default for Apples appstore.
