DDJ SB3 -- No Audio from Serato

Hello!

I'm brand new to dj-ing and just purchased a DDJ SB3. I've been surfing the forums to try and troubleshoot the audio issue I've been having but cannot seem to find something similar to what I am experiencing.

I have downloaded Serato DJ Lite after reading it is compatible with MacOS Catalina. I plugged my SB3 into my Mac via the USB cord provided and then the audio outputs through an amplifier/receiver en route to passive speakers. When I cue and press play, I can't hear anything out of the speakers or through the headphones. In the headphones, though, I do hear static that tells me the headphones are working.

It gets interesting when I pull up a YouTube video though. When I have the SB3 selected as the output for my audio from my Mac, I can hear the YouTube video through the speakers meaning somehow the audio is in fact flowing through my controller. I can even control the YouTube video sound with the Master volume on the SB3. Unplugging the controller from the speakers cuts the sound of the YouTube video.

Is the issue with Serato here? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
