Ddj 1000 SRT problem

I just bought my ddj 1000 SRT two days ago...but when I try try to scratch, I may perform a single successful scratch then it starts skipping, waveform keeps going foward and foward...can it be because of my windows laptop....I tried two windows laptop, the same thing happened
