DDJ 800 jog Wheel issues

The jogwheels on my ddj 800 are unresponsive and are pretty much doing whatever they like. I've toggled the vinyl mode on and of multiple times and it still won't stay on so I can scratch and move the track backward and forward. When i place my hand on the jogwheel the track will also not stop playing and begins to move forward while skipping peridocally. This issue just began today and is very frustrating.
