Related tracks on USB Device (not in collection)

I see there is no way to select a playlist on a USB device from the Related Tracks Window.  You first have to import it into the collection...

The related tracks function is an amazing function I personally cant do without...

That seems like a very strange limitation.  I don't want to have to import my playlist on somebody else's computer to be able to use this functionality.
