Rekordbox Connect to Computer Stuck!

I have Rekordbox 6.5 installed on my Mac Book Pro and the Rekordbox App installed on my iPhone 12. 

When I try to connect the two devices together to sync, Rekordbox on the computer recognizes my phone, and when I press connect, my phone goes to "Connecting to Recordbox (Mac/Win) screen and stays there. It's been over 1.5 hrs and still on the same screen on my phone.

Not sure what i'm doing wrong. 

I'm just looking to be able to control the playlist from Rekordbox on my Mac from my phone at a party.

Any help would be appreciated!
