Rekordbox crashing on startup

Rekordbox refuses to start up any longer on my CPU.  I am using the most up to date (updated this week) version of RB.  I using a DDJ-1000 (up to date firmware) and attempting to start RB with it plugged in and not - no difference.  Have to force quit RB and try again but no luck at all.  I do not know what is conflicting with RB on my system but if I lose my library again - I am gonna be super sad.  Please help!
