DDJ-800 & Condenser Microphone

I want to run a condenser microphone through my controller in order for me to essentially set up like a radio station. Music playing, ability to talk and not have to hold the mic. 

1- Is this possible? 

2- If so can you let me know how I need to set up as I currently have no sound coming through the mic yet I can hear a fuzzy sound when its all plugged in?

It has phantom power and is connected via XLR, USB and a 6.35mm jack into the back of my controller.
