I am trying to remove some old MP3 from my collection. For most it worked, but I have about 300 of them that - each time I remove them - when I close and restart Rekordbox, they are back in the collection.
I cannot even do a "Backup Library" as it fails (I suspect this is due to those files).
What should I do to fix this issue?

The fact they're showing as missing is a possible key... I'm not sure why they wouldn't be able to be removed tho. I'll ask you to please file an inquiry ticket here and our support team will gather some additional information to assist you in resolving this issue.

It's possible there is some damage to the database. What happens if you add new songs? Are you able to export those songs you're trying to delete?

I can add new tracks to the collection, and I can remove them. In this case I was able to remove about 2000 tracks. Only those 304 tracks block me.
The tracks are not present anymore on my computer so I cannot export them anymore. They just show in the collection with a "!" and they are seen as missing files.

Any update? Anybody has this issue with files that cannot be removed form the collection and - therefore - blocking the backup capability?
