djm900NXS2 Recording with Audacity ( or other program suggestions?)

hello i recently purchased a 900nxs2 and i am now reading that the soundcard (64bit) is not compatible with audacity? im currently running windows 10 and a RCA to aux into my mic jack, i am getting a waveform however the playback sounds very muffled, please help. i was recording this same exact way with my djm 700 with no problems at all. if this mixer is not yet compatible with audacity, are there any other good programs that are??

Have you tried Ocenaudio or Wavosaur?

Tried both, same thing. Muffled sound, however I can record through usb with rekordbox. I feel like there isn't as much control with rekordbox tho :/

Audacity is compatible with the DJM900nxs2.

are you trying to record from the mixer via USB with audacity?

you need the asio 4 u drivers it will thenm recognise the djm but you need to open rekordbox first select the driver then open audacity :) hope this helps

when using usb 1/2 audacity recognizes the input, but when i press record, it now freezes. i am able to record fine on rekordbox but my mixes come out quieter than usual.
