DJM 450 Channel Fader Curves

Just recently purchased and began using DJM 450. Trying to get used to the channel fader curves as they are different than what I had on my previous setup using an XDJ-AERO. I'm wondering if someone might please explain to me what the default channel fader curve is (since they are not changeable) on this mixer and what the best way to approach using it is. I've consulted the full length manual and the quick start documentation but did not find anything in them regarding this. I noticed it mostly when I was making announcements and would go to lower the volume slightly and the volume dropped much lower than what I'm used to on the faders on the AERO, which I think have more of a linear curve. Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated!!! I would also highly recommend and submit to the developers to please allow for the adjustment of the curves via the settings on the mixer itself.... Be it as it doesn't have any physical way of adjustment perhaps a concession may be made to at least allow for a possibility to adjust via the settings as it's possible to set and adjust other items through that menu. Thank you for your time, attention and consideration.

I have an answer for you...

The CH fader curve of the DJM-450 is that of a linear curve, which is the same as the high-end mixer DJM-900NXS2. This linear curve of the DJM-900NXS2 and DJM-450 has been improved by making the sound pressure change more linear than other previous mixers' including XDJ-AERO, so if they sound different, that's why.

We tossed this around at the NAMM show but nobody had a definitive answer; I've asked the product team to let us know!
