DJM-S9 Headphone Jack Bleeding
It seems that the headphone back of my DJM-S9 is bleeding... I have to play around D with the phone jack in order to get it to work... Its not the headphones as I have tried several headphones and having the same issue...
Anything I can do in order to fix this issue?
Thanks
Eazy

Yeah both ports have the same issue
Best bet would be to call up Pioneer and, (providing its still under warranty) they will advise you to send it in for repair at an authorised repair shop. They arrange collection and delivery too so is pretty easy. You will need to provide the sales receipt and the Serial number.
Does it bleed out of the main speakers the same as the headphone ports? Or is it isolated to just the headphone jack? Sounds like you need a new headphone port(s) soldered in.
I think the mixer is just over a year old so I think the warranty is done...
The bleeding only happens on the headphone jack everything else works fine on the mixer
I would call up Pioneer anyway and see what they say. They may give you a goodwill repair for free? Worth a try. If that doesn't work out then the best advice would be to get it in to a recommended service shop and get it repaired. It is most likely something small and easy to sort.
