It should be responding right away to the command, if an answer doesn't come from the sw side lets us know and we will create a ticket. But it sounds more mapping than hardware, but let us know.
Hi guys.
I setup my xdj rx with Traktor fine, on version 2.20 of xdj-rx and on version 2.11 of traktor.
What i'm finding is when using rx to mix with, the tempo change on each decks isn't responding properly. I can move it +1 or +2 for example and nothing. I then move it another +1 or +2 and suddenly the deck will jump tempo quicker/slower way too much.
When using an audio 4 with traktor, decks are calibrated but when using rx and setting up as midi controller, there isn't this option and I feel this is where the issue may lie? FYI I have posted in native instruments forum too.
This almost renders the decks useless but I feel it is down to a setting that may need tweaking in Traktors contoller mapping or user error rather than a hardware issue.

Thanks for the response man :)
I found another thread last night which details my issue better
This is exactly what I am getting. Any ideas on a fix?
If you connect decks to traktor through an audio card, you are able to calibrate the decks so that they are completely responsive(there's options on the interface of each deck with a green play, orange deck and blue deck). You can't do that when using rx as a controller. Traktor only registers the green play button which in turn doesn't let tempo fader change in response to user movements - it has set amounts it can go up and down by, 175.62bpm will either go down to 174.57bpm or up to 177.84bpm for example(not exact numbers just to give more context). You couldn't for example, change the tempo from 175.62bpm to 175.63bpm.
I hope that makes sense.
Thanks
Hi Nick, its seems this is an issue with the Midi resolution the RX or Infact many of the Pioneer controller provide.
The RX only has 7-bit Midi resolution which although most other functions is fine, it does mean the pitch is not very accurate, hence the issue we are seeing. Where as CDJs have 14-bit resolution.
Oh and its not just Traktor and VDJ that have the issue. I get the same problem on mine whether I use a USB key which has been prepared in RekordBox or using RekordBox in performance mode.
Lets face it, its not like these are cheap products and they should be designed in this way. Whether this can be resolved with a firmware update who knows. I still have an open ticket with Pioneer regarding this.
