DJM 350 - Seperate Channels are playing on Seperate speakers also when recording

Hello :)

First of all, to try and help you understand the situation.

x2 Pioneer PLX - 1000
pair of M-Audio BX5 D2
DJM 350
Sennheiser HD25 70

When plugging in speakers via either the XLR or TRS, the typical way of Master 1 - white and Red. The sound will only respond out of one speaker. So Channel 1 from the left speaker, Channel 1 with the right. It will respond in both speakers if then I move the white to the red below or vice Versa. So for both speakers to play both channels I must use both XLR & TRS.

It is also the same story when using my headphones Channel 1 in the left headphone, channel 2 in the right. And when I record although bthe channel is coming out of both speakers it will only record in to one side when listening back on laptop.

Could this be an issue with the wires? Do I need different speakers maybe with RCA - RCA?

I am really hoping someone can help because it is driving me crazy haha. And can not work out it seems as if the channels will not work together.

Thanks for your time,
Zac :)

The culprit seems to be the PLX-1000.

  1. Be sure all of your RCA connections between the PLX and the DJM are solid.
  2. Be sure your headshells and cartridges are installed and connected properly.
