DJM 250 mk2 switching to internal mixer mode Rekordbox

 Hello, just bought the following set up (2x plx 1000 + Timecode + djm250 mk2 + sp1)

Using Rekordbox it is impossible to control the software with mixer. I can't swith to internal mixing mode (Picture attached)

Additionally the program doesn't show any fader movements or changes in the 3 band eq.

Only swith off the power of the mixer, there is a very short show off of the fader but thats it. I can't control the software with my mixer.

Everything else works --> the controls of the dvs system via turntables.

Please advice

The DJM-250MK2 is not intended to control the internal software mixer as it's capable of receiving discrete audio outputs from the software to each channel of the mixer, and then mixing the audio in hardware.

The hardware on all Pioneer DJMs is always "audio first," so even if you were to configure it to manipulate the software mixer via MIDI, any audio passing through that channel would be affected by the position of the knobs / faders.

Set it for external mixer mode and you'll find it's a better experience.

Hi

Has this been resolved ? I also have the same problem

The DJM 250mk2, definitely sends midi signals as I can see them being received in RB's midi settings. However the internal mode radio button remains greyed out.

Can someone from Pioneer please help?

Many thanks

Anyone?

It's quite clear in the DJM 250 MK2 manual that it sends midi

Is this a DJM firmware issue or a Rekordbox defect????

Just on this - if I use the DJM 250 MK2 and my XDJs connected in HID mode and I want to record a set in Rekordbox, I am assuming there will be no digital to analogue conversion happening?

I ask as when I record my mixes, I like to keep everything internal to Rekordbox, so the original digital quality is maintained.

Therefore if the DJM 250 MK2 affects the eq of the digital files in Rekordbox, I am assuming there is no digital to analogue conversion happening when the mixer sends back (via USB ) these eq changes to Rekordbox when being recorded ?

Hope that makes sense and someone can help with my query ...
