Happened to mine also, you need to get it fixed. the technician will change the output board. costing half the price of a new ddj sx2. but it is a common problem for the sx after about 1 year

DDJ-SX No sound from master channel. Noise.
Right now, my controller is experiencing a problem. No sound. Master channel is silent, only noise is heard. The master channel indicator is also not displayed. Noise is heard even when I don't connect the controller to the Mac.
I live in Moscow. We have a problem with the official service centers pioneer for dj hardware.

hi did that noise only go´s out to the master volume - can you change to the Booth output to see it go´s ?
you can also check the Utility Mode on the SX -
page 26
an make sure that Master output´s attenuation level is set to -3dB
Is serato handling the software gain for you? (auto gain while analyzing tracks...)
