Quick Scroll through Playlist?

I'm wondering if there is a quick way to scroll to the bottom of a playlist on the CDJ 2000NXS2 without having to scroll manually with the encoder dial. This is more for large playlists with say 500 tracks for example.

The problem I'm having is that when I analyze tracks in Rekordbox and export to a playlist on my USB, the CDJ displays the tracks inside the playlist with the oldest tracks at the top, and the newest tracks added at the bottom of the playlist, which makes browsing on the CDJ a pain in the butt. I REALLY wish there was a way to just flip the display order like you can in Rekordbox.

I know I can go to menu and sort by date and that would correct this, but then I end up with a different problem which is that the player then only shows me the track name and date added, which also doesn't work for me as I NEED to see the genre next to the track name.

I prefer to browse by playlists, and ideally, what I wish I could accomplish is for the CDJ to display tracks inside a playlist by date added with newest tracks at the top and oldest tracks at the bottom, while maintaining my preference of displaying the genre next to the track name which I have set in the preferences in Rekordbox. I have been led to believe this is not possible on the players.

As a secondary fix, being able to somehow just scroll to the bottom of the playlist quickly would work as it would get me to the newest tracks in the playlist.

You can hold down the encoder for one second to scroll by page. There is no way to quickly jump to the bottom of a playlist.

You can also reorder your playlist before exporting it to your USB drive. Just sort by Date Added descending in Rekordbox, then right-click the column header and choose Renumber Track Order.

How do you renumber tracks? I've been told that in older versions of Rekordbox you would right click the header and select renumber tracks... but this option is not displayed in the current version of Rekordbox, at least that I can see. Am I missing something?

You need to be in a playlist, not in the Collection node like you were in this topic. The option is also hidden if your playlist is sorted by the # column.

Thank you SO MUCH. I got everything figured out and now it is working exactly as I want. I just need to remember that every time I add new tracks and import to the USB I need to renumber the tracks in each playlist to keep the newest tracks at the top.

This is going to make life so much easier :-)
