Hi, Rodrigo. I'm sorry you are experiencing this issue. I will create a support ticket for you and pass this information along to our product team. Any information I receive will then be posted here. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Hello ,
I just wanted to start saying this will be my 4th try to post .....
2nd time customer service mail sent
and all my post keep disappearing, enter the limbo of waiting for approval and any mail response yet.
here is my post again copy/pasted, tired of writing every time the same problem:
"Good afternoon.
I've been experiencing some issues with one of my CDJ-2000NXS2 for the last month or two, in witch the track while playing after a minute or so jumps to the beginning of the song by itself, the fault is not related to any track in specific, nor any loop, fader start on any pressing of any buttons is been active.
Sometimes the tracks after jumping to the beginning start a kind of 2 bars loop that does not aloud me even to stop. only way to solve this to power cycle the unit.
this problem is not constant so i could not know when is gonna happen, but once start to happen, become more and more frequent to the point of making me impossible to work with it.
My player is updated to the last firmware 1.71. This happen to me while playing with usb drive or with rekordbox in export mode. have not tried yet with rekordbox dj, because its not my method of performance.
I wrote this issue in the pioneer forum before, but my post never came alive. saying waiting for approval or something like that.
I saw this issue similar in other forum posts:
Sometimes when i press the loop in button to create a loop this behaviour start and jumps to the beginning of the track, same if i try to create a 4 bars loop with the (.4/- 8BEAT) button.
Ive try to deactivate the a.cue function as suggested in other forum, but the problem continues.
As stated above this issue its not music file related because the same file plays correct on my other player, its completely random and make this unit unreliable.
2 days Ago I bought a CDJ-2000Nexus to solve this situation and after working the whole weekend around 18hours without the unit in question, same tracks, same location, same booth, same levels. i encounter no problems, what can makes it clear that its a faulty unit.
Now i have 2000$ paper weight. waiting to be fix.
I have another DJ colleague with the same issue but on a NXS (1) unit.
Please any help will be gladly appreciated.

Thanks Mark, looking forward to any input!
CDJ engineers have tried to replicate the reported issues in a similar setup, but they have failed so far. Can you please tell us what file format you are using?
Hello Mark,
Im using MP3 Files 320KBPS, its not a file format problem. the same tracks plays flawless in the other player, also the fault in not track related, its random....
I understand this will be very difficult of replicate, because I'm myself have been playing with my own set, (same laptop, router, mixer, music files.... etc) for the last 3 weeks averaging 20 hours a week of playing under the same conditions, where the problems where shown and till now no problems... Knock on wood.... so if the only component out of the chain of equipment is the CDJ replaced, its easy to determinate that the unit itself was the problem.
Next week ill be sending the unit to Pioneer Electronics in LA, and ask for a replacement, This player is relative new bought less than 8 months ago, and its unreliable.....
By the way since I've been paying more attention to the equipment performance and glitches than enjoying playing, noticed that the "filter" and the "noise" color on the mixer (DJM900NXS2) its "temperamental" his level its not constant, while playing sometimes i have to open almost completely the main level Parameters Knob of the color effects, to hear barely any effect applied, at the same time this issue is present the tempo on the the effects drift out (and yes all tracks are analysed and beat grid corrected) while the mixer its linked and quantise active on!, as random as the problem start ends and everything start to work properly again..
Soon Pioneer will have my player on their hands to check it, lets see how fast this is gonna be handle, Im already not happy that I have to pay and insurance the shipping myself all the way to LA.
Thanks Mark for your time
Hi Mark,
I'm having the exact same problem since i switched from NXS to NXS2.
Did they have a solution by now?
Offtopic: Do you also experience beat grid problems on the NXS2?
Like when playing 2 of the same tracks and one going a few milliseconds out of sync every second?
Thanks
Roy
@Roy > I'm not sure what could be causing this. It's possible that there is a hardware malfunction.
Please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region for further assistance.
@mark > i'm afraid the problem with the drifting bpm is going to be huge. I'm hearing lots of dj's having this problem on both cdj2000nxs and nxs2.
I did a lot of testing for the last 3 weeks and i think i know what this problem is causing. Should i start a new post?
Yes, please.
Try other memories or devices.
If you using a computer, well try another hookup (cable)
Most of the cases ive come across when djn or helping others with support is related to the memories like USB, SD or SSD.
Usb and SD get really hot and mess with the components in the stick or card. sometimes they even melt or break. Ive had correspondence with customer support from Sandisk and Corsair and they should check back soon.
I had several issues with errors on different players. Then i change my storage lineup and got rid of the issues!
