DJM900 NXS2 Fresh user

Hello just got today 2x CDJ2000NXS2 & DJM900NXS2 awesome!

But I do DJ on internet and I noticed that I can't get the audio output from mixer usb to the stream PC. I've tried the both version of djm900nxs2 pc software: 1000 and 1110.

With both version I'm not able to get sound from the mixer working on PC.

The PC is: Windows 10 version 1703.

Please what I need to do?

Best Regards.

Tord is right, it's very easy. If should select one of the return channels as "rec out" on the mixer output tab, (preferably 8-9) then in your recording/streaming software select the same channel in the configurations. If you dont use DVS/Timecode you can leave all others output channels as "none".

Then my best guess is that the software you are using does not provide ASIO capabilities. If so - you'll need to route audio from the mixer via a soundcard.

You need a software that converts your asio inputs to a virtual wdm audio device. Something like a Asio Pro Link Software. I never did it but it may work.

I hope it cuz after spent a lot of money in this new decks and mixer if I have to use my old soundboard to stream analog mixer output its just nosense and sick. You have some idea if have some asio output to convert than to a virtual device were the windows and stream aps will recognize? Cuz I need the sound not from asio inputs but I need the recoutput from djm (since I noticed that the master output isnot send smh)

Wouldn't the simplest solution be to either use the REC OUT or MAIN OUT (RCA) directly to the computers soundcard, and simply define the LINE IN on the soundcard as the source of the audio? That way, the operating systems own sound drivers will be used.

I think the Voicemeeter banana should work.

Routing directly from the DJM900 soundcard is the best solution in terms of audio quality. If you plug your CDJ's to the DJM 900 using digital cables and get the audio from the DJM900 internal sound card you'l have a 100% digital signal path without AD/DA conversions. If you have a digital input in your computer you can plug the DJM 900 digital master out directly to the PC and use the pc's sound card, and if everything else fails you can follow Tord advice and use the analog rec out to the computer.
