PLEASE HELP!! DDJ-RB Jog Wheels Not Working Correctly

I have asked this question before and seem to be getting no resolution.

Basically when I am playing a track on either deck of my DDJ-RB I cannot use the jog wheels to scratch/forward/rewind the track.

When the track is paused I can scratch fine but when I play the track scratching doesn't work.

I have been told previously to enable this in the keyboard shortcuts of Rekordbox but I have no idea what I have to do to enable this feature, it's really annoying.

If there is any advice you have to get this resolved I would really appreciate it as I haven't been able to use the jog wheels properly for weeks.

[Preferences] - [Keyboard] - [Deck 1/2] - [Vinyl Mode] for Vinyl and use them to enable/disable.

Hi Jay,

Just tried this now and I'm still having no luck. I've set keyboard shortcuts for Vinyl mode, I've tried to scratch whilst a track is playing with Vinyl mode enabled and disabled and they still do not work, I can only scratch when the track is paused...

@Pulse > Yes I have turned vinyl mode both on and off to see if either one would fix this issue, I have noticed the indicator change when I am swapping between vinyl mode and still nothing. I'm not sure what the issue is at all as the jog wheels work fine when a track is paused it's only when one is playing that they go like this.

I have the same problem with ddj rb, suddenly the left jog wheel will only scratch if it is paused as soon as you press play it doesn’t work. The right jog wheel is fine and I haven’t changed any settings. Not sure how to fix this problem. I’m at the end of my teather now. Please help

@Karen > Please try enabling VINYL mode on the left deck. There is no button for it on the DDJ-RB, so you'll have to create a keyboard shortcut for it if you don't have one already:

Eu to com o mesmo problema na DDJ-RB o Jog direito não funciona quando está em reprodução. Apenas pausado. Já troquei cabo, testei em outro computador e nada.

I need help too, i have the same exact problem and have done everything , changed USB , removed rca, undated driver, updated rekordbox, updated firmware, default midi and still nothing ... And yes the vinyl light is on in rekordbox... Please help me, i really want to enjoy using the RB like i used too but this is really annoying and i lose interest
