DDJ SX Audio dropout

I have been experiencing consistent audio dropout when playing Gigs with my DDj SX. I know its not a Serato Dj problem because it also happens whenever I use the ddj sx with my PC alone acting just as an audio output. This has become really embarrassing for me.

Some moths ago, I reinstalled the latest firmware and the issue gone for a few weeks but now returned.

I use an HP Probook 6470b running Windows 10 Pro x64bit. Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3230M CPU @ 2.60GHz, 2601 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s).

Please help

What is your audio buffer set to? Do you see the CPU light come on while playing?

My Buffer is presently set at 20ms. I have done several changes over time. Like I mentioned earlier, it does not only happen when I am connected to Serato but also when I use the DDJ as an Audio interface with windows. Thanks

When you're using your SX as a Windows audio device, it is running with a different set of drivers. I'd like to try and eliminate the possible sources of error in DJ scenarios first, as that's the intended use of the SX.

Have you tried changing the USB cable and using a different port on your computer?

Does the audio drop-out occur if you use only a line-input device to the SX without your computer connected?

Hi Oluwole, did you ever toke a peek in Seratos Optimization Guide ?? it helps allot cause Serato DJ needs a very quiet working operating system.
