Rekordbox - iCloud Drive

When importing tracks from your iCloud Drive on Mac into Rekordbox, the location shown in the collection in rekordbox says something like /Mobile Documents/com~apple~CloudDoc.
This really not helpful since I organize my songs in subfolders on the iCloud Drive and when importing them into rekordbox I put them in the corresponding playlist which I can see from the location of the file displayed in the collection.
It would be great if the subfolders from iCloud drive could be shown in the collection or if there is any other wokraround besides copying the files and subfolders into a directory which is correctly displayed in the collection.

iCloud Drive folders are not officially supported as they're not technically a local file location. Sorry!

I understand that
But Dropbox worked and I just switched to iCloud.
Is Dropbox handled so differently to the iCloud Drive?

And is there a workaround?

Dropbox is handled as a local folder by the OS, whereas the iCloud is not always recognized by applications as a local folder (sometimes it's a symlink).

Unfortunately we do not have any workarounds as it is not supported or recommended for use. Sorry.

I found a workaround, simply set icloud drive to also backup your desktop and documents, and then move your music to your desktop. Items on your desktop will be stored in icloud, BUT since it's ON your desktop, it also shows up in rekordbox :) Just tried this myself cause I was having the same issue.
