That sounds to me like it's a faulty encoder knob; please contact an authorized service centre in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or repaired.

XDJ-XZ Scroll/Zoom Rotary "jumps"
ich habe 2 xdj-xz aus der gleichen zeit ca. 1,5 jahre alt. wenn ich den scroll/zoom rotary drehe springt die anzeige/cursor/balken manchmal einige tracks weiter und überläuft manchmal sogar das ende fängt dann bei track 1 wieder an. wenn ich im grid zoome funktioniert alles normal. bei der auswahl (track gefunden) springt die anzeige manchmal in die "suche". beide ydj-xz haben das gleiche phenomen! meiner meinung nach hat sich das vielleicht mit der letzten firmware eingeschlichen - kann das mal geprüft werden!!!

I have 2 XDJ-XZ from the same time about 1.5 years old. When I rotate the scroll/zoom Rotary, the display/cursor/bar sometimes jumps a few tracks further and sometimes even overflows the end starts again at track 1. When I zoom in the grid everything works normally. When selecting (track found), the display sometimes jumps into the "search". Both YDJ-XZ have the same phenomenon! In my opinion, this may have crept in with the last firmware - can this be checked!!!

@ pulse - are you sure? 2 xdj since firmware 1.24 and zooming grid is without jumps

Does it exhibit "phantom touch" symptoms beyond what you've described (jumps into search)?
It's entirely possible you have some dirt, debris, or even a hair under the edge of the display causing it to register a touch. Give that a check.

i have the similar problem with my XZ =( you find solution for fix it myself or i have to bring it to servcie ?
