There is the main or master CUE which is the main point where the player will go to when you press the big orange CUE button. This point is temporary and can change if you create a loop as the loop-in point will change the master cue to that position.

Hot Cues. Much like memory cues, they can be stored anywhere on the track, but can be called from pads or hot cue buttons at any time. They can be used in "gated" mode, meaning they follow the operation of the player - when playing, the hot cue will jump to that position and then continue playing, but when the player is stopped, pressing the hot cue will jump to that point and stop (it plays only as long as you hold the hot cue). Again, you can set the hot cue as the main cue for the deck.
Don't confuse this with the CUE on the mixer, which is effectively to preview the audio for that channel.
