Pioneer DJM T1 thoughts?

Great mixer, may be lacking in the support department though via pioneer

VERY lacking in support from Pioneer. I have but yet one of my questions to be answered by the manufacturer.

Great  mixer in my opinion....Cheaper and better built than the Z2 as well....I tried both and went with the T1

New firmware update due next week too so post fader fx etc.....

What do you mean by lacking in support?  Pioneer just announced a new TSI file available for Traktor 2.6.0, I don't see how that's lacking?

I have had my two queries for support go not just unanswered, but unaknowledged that they even read! Not "here's the answer." Not "we don't know." Not "we will look into it." And not even "we have read your query."

That, by the very definition of the word, is lacking.

And a quick scan of the forum reveals I am not the only one.

Just looked at your questions

1.Not sure you would be able to this as it's to do with Traktors routing and not the T1.....Traktors record function would using this channel to record internally so I'm pretty sure you wouldnt be able to monitor it through your speakers.

2.Have you tried to increase the latency in Traktors audio settings as if it's set too low for your system it will put stress on the cpu and cause spikes....

512 is a good place to start and work your way down and testing each time you change...

Okay guys, beside from the fact that Pioneer may or may not be lacking in support I just made a decision.

I just confirmed my order and in a week I will the proud owner of a Pioner DJM T1. And the fact that they're updating the firmware…

hello everybody,

i also tried the Traktor Z2 and instead decided to go with a DJM T1. i just got it home today. i have a couple of questions for which i'd be grateful to get answers. i'm really not slacking the DJM T1 but there are a couple of things i couldn't find on it which were comfortably on the Z2

1) how do i control the volume of the remix decks? the Z2 had two dedicated knobs (if not EQs)

2) any way of controlling the filters for track A/B? again the Z2 had this

3) is there a way of getting back to the beginning of the track (return to zero). the reason i ask is that i think the DJM T1 could replace not only a Z2 but an X1 controller as well. the only thing i couldn't find which i use regularly (at least in practice not so much playing live) is the return to beginning of track.

zig zag you need to remap the the loop knob  to beat jump: when the track is stopped, press shift, turn loop knob - i was going to do this myself as coming from an s4 this was a massive issue i could not believe pioneer left this out! it leaves you reaching for the mouse!

in the end i couldnt be botherd to remap it and just purchased a kontrol x1 mk2,  this has proper beat jump mapped and a flux button and the touch strip is wicked!
