DJM900 FX BPM with 2000 Adv. HID

Hi!

When i use CDJ2000 or CDJ2000 Nexus with Advanced HID on Traktor the BPM on the DJM900 doesn't work.

At first i thought it was an error on the CDJ2000 or the mixer. But i tried a brand new 900 and CDJ2000Nexus today.

The CDJ's and the DJM are linked with Pro DJ Link (LAN) and USB via. an USB HUB.

The audio detection works fine with USB/CD but not with Advanced HID.

If i remove the network cable from the mixer the detection works fine.

I would prefer if the BPM was transferred as it is when you use Rekordbox. I guess that is up to Pioneer to enable that feature?

The BPM shows 120 and flashes (listening) no matter what BPM i play.

Latest firmware on both CDJ and DJM. Hooked up via analog. Any musicstyle as the BPM is not detected but read from Traktor. The songs are already analyzed.

Connection is via Line. No change if i use digital input.

It's exactly the same as the video from an earlier thread:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcB5DZy44hI&feature=youtu.be

If i change the Player no. to 3 and 4 channel 1 and 2 is reading the BPM via Audio detection. If i change them back to Player 1 and 2 the BPM detection just stops working.

It is ONLY when i use the advanced HID. I tried using a random older CD. The BPM locked fine to the CDJ BPM Readout. No blinking what so ever.

The BPM detection will work with any audio input, regardless of its source; analog, digital or USB.  If you are expecting it to read beatgrid data from Traktor, that's not possible as their software doesn't send that info, only rekordbox-source audio will provide that function.
