I also noticed part dwx2681 is a fader assembly for channel one. Likewise would this be as simple as a couple of screws and a plug in a connector?

Folgen[CLOSED] DJm-700 fader replacement help
Hi guys, I'm trying to find out the steps involved in replacing one of my pioneer djm-700 faders (channel 1) (out of warranty). I'm having a hard time finding a tutorial and want to see if its a simple as a few screws or if theres any soldering involved. It seems like the part is DCV1010. Any help or guidance would be appreciated so I know whats involved and if i can do it myself or bring it to a service center if soldering is in fact needed.

If you buy just the fader, then you'll need to solder it to the little pcb its attaches to (after first removing old fader). Its a very easy job, and i'm rubbish with a soldering iron.
If you buy the fader assembly its just a case of connecting the little plastic connector.
Easiest option is to buy the whole assembly, but even the first option is a pretty easy job.
Thank you for the info on both scenarios! It really clears a lot up and i was able to find a video from a similiar pioneer mixer doing that. Now the next question is... is the part DCV1010 the correct fader for the 700? I noticed the faders weren't sold seperately on pioneer parts. I'm trying to avoid having a different feel from one fader to the next.
couldnt say for sure, but have a look on Ebay, some of the sellers will often quote the part number ..... (I bought my djm2000 ones from ebay and I'm pretty sure they all use same faders)
@taso > Given Pioneer's technical support line a call and then should be able to help you find the part / help fix the problem.
