[CLOSED] DJM-900 Nexus Audio Dropping Out??

I've been using a DJM 900 nexus for about a year now, and it always ran great until about 2 weeks ago, I started getting these terrible audio drop-outs(I have the mixer connected to my PC by USB, and the audio indicator at the top of the channel on the mixer flashes on and off when the audio drops in/out) that just wouldn't stop until I restart my PC, then usually it would stop until it randomly started back up again which is usually within a couple of hours of PC use. I can't remember anything that I changed or installed at the time that this started but I've been searching google and I've tried everything that I could find to fix it.

I don't have a virus, I've updated all of my drivers and firmware, I've tried disabling ACPI/wifi, I've tried disabling any other audio in/outs that I'm not using, I've tried just killing mutliple background programs that I thought could be causing a problem(antivirus, etc), I've tried multiple different usb cables/ports. Nothing is working, and this is incredibly annoying to deal with considering I'm working with audio basically 24/7 and the djm900 nexus is my main audio interface.

I'm running windows 7 64bit.

Can anyone please help me out at all?

Come on, anyone? I can't even use the mixer basically. If it's not the audio cutting out, I get crackling where the indicators for channels that I'm not even using/sending audio to light up like the crackling is coming from them or something.

What program are you using on windows? i have a somewhat similar scenario with bad sound quality as of lately, im running traktor and the djm and when i dj out i get a slight bit of what sounds like digital distortion, and the top end is extremely bright with very little low end, and thats with the low end boosted to around 3 o clock, very annoying!!! like you i didnt change anything and the djm is my main soundcard!

I use Ableton, but the crackling and dropouts happen no matter what I'm doing. Like right now I was trying to watch some youtube videos on firefox, and Ableton isn't even open, but I'm getting massive crackling/lag/audio dropouts. I'm tired of constantly having to restart my PC to fix it, just to have it start back up again.

@Jarret > Ok, lets start from scratch... Have you updated all the necessary firmware and drivers available for the mixer from here:

http://pioneerdj.com/support/product.php?lang=en&p=DJM-900NXS&t=111

Please also ensure you have updated any software you use in conjunction with the mixer (such as Ableton etc).

Have you tried adjusting the latency settings to see if it makes any difference?

Thanks for the assistance Gaven. Yesterday I actually figured out that the problem is being caused by DPC latency within windows 7. For some reason my wireless adapter is causing some kind of problem with a couple of windows drivers related to wifi/usb, but I can't find any clear answers on how to actually fix the issue anywhere. I have made sure that I updated the drivers/firmware for the mixer though.

@Jarret > Ok and were you actually able to connect the mixer since or you just know what the problem is? Can you disable the wireless adaptor and try connecting the mixer then?
