[CLOSED] Combining DJM-900SRT & CDJ-2000Nexus for a single Serato/Traktor/Rekordbox Setup

A few of the fellow DJ geeks will appreciate this. Because of the release of the updated Serato DJ application, the DJM-900SRT, along with the existing functions of the CDJ-2000Nexus and DDJ-SX, it is possible to have a setup that COMBINES Serato DJ, Traktor, and Rekord Box with NO EXTERNAL HARDWARE/INTERFACES REQUIRED! That means with 2 CDJ's and a Serato DJ mixer, or 2 CDJ's and a Serato DJ controller with multiple inputs, you can achieve a multi-application setup with as little hardware and setup time as possible. Yup I went nerd balls out on this one again. Since the SRT is not released yet this is just a theory of mine, hope you enjoy.

You are somewhat correct but not 100%

First off Serato DJ DOES NOT support DVS without a DVS supported interface. This includes DJM-900SRT but not the DDJ-SX.

Furthermore the DJM-900SRT can work with Traktor just like anything can................ most likely. I mean you can even get Serato ONLY controllers to work with DVS (Traktor Scratch) if you have the know how. One of Traktor's downfall is one of their strong points in that they let you use pretty much ANY device as well as ANY sound card but this same thing is what leads to many of its stability issues.

I have the 900SRT coming it this Tues. being able to use it as Traktor Sound card that is. My guess is it will operate the exact same way as Nexus........................ I'd be willing to bet this i fact. It's just too similar. The SRT ONLY ADDS without taking away anything!!

Furthermore I can confirm and I was 100% correct in my prediction. You CAN use the DJM-900SRT as a soundcard for Traktor so this makes the DJM-900SRT the only mixer that works with EVERY DJ app. The scenario you are trying to replicate is actually much easier than you predicted but exactly as I predicted LOL.
