[SOLVED] DJM-2000 midi and Windows 8 / 8.1

I've got a DJM-2000 and 2 CDJ-2000 all with latest firmware, due to a hardware failure on one of the CDJ-2000's while at Wasteland Weekend I shipped the failed unit back to the factory this week for repairs and I've been working on alternate ways of playing so I can fulfill some djing obligations I have this week.  currently I have a working setup using 1 CDJ-2000 as HID Midi for Traktor and bouncing between whichever traktor deck I assign the player too and this is going to be what I use until the failed CDJ returns.

Initially I was going to try to run the  DJM-2000 as the traktor controller per the instructions here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWT6ZEiRyT8 but after configuring it as showing, loading the .tsi file starting the turning the midi clock on, setting traktor's midi info to use the correct deck, I'm running into some issues with the midi control for my DJM-2000 not working correctly. The control light in traktor says its seeing midi signal but none of the mapped buttons are working, and if I try to use the learn function traktor does not see the midi output.

I was running windows 8.1 RTM so I thought as Windows 8 support was only added this May, windows 8.1 might not support the windows 8 midi driver, and I rolled my install back to the backup I made prior to the update to windows 8 hoping that would resolve it, however, it does not seem to be working. . .

I'm at a bit of a loss here any direction would be appreciated.

@Rev DJ > The problem, it would appear, is with Windows. Win8.1 support will be rolled out soon - you should update then (or, if you need it to work straight away, consider a full wipe and re-install of Windows
