Hi guys,
I just got a DJM 900 and first time when I tried to update the firmware it did the upload, the 'Success' comes up, I turned it off and always when I turn it on again it comes in the same update screen.
I just observed that the 'LFO Form/Wake Up Botton' it flashes 3 times in a tool, pause, 3 times, pause and 3 times again and then it comes to Update screen again.
Already talked with Pioneer support in London and they just "don't know" how to sort it out.
Im using OS X 10.9.2 and the latest DJM900 firmware and drivers.
It worked perfect when i was playing analog vinil, when I just got into the Traktor scratch it got collapse and never turned on again.
Does anyone know how to back it to 'factory mode' or at the least sort out my problem?
Appreciate your help,
Thanks a million.

Hi Pulse, thanks you for your attention.
Curious fact, that is the second DJM900 that I got this week with the same problem, The first when I bought and went home already came in this situation, The second came working normal, I used to run few vinil and after that when i connect it in my MAC to test with Traktor Scratch it just freeze the software and mixer, The mixer was freeze with the VU lights on, I just turned it OFF and ON again and it got stuck in that Update screen.
Actually I'm very frustrated, I am Pioneer user longer than 12 years and I never ever had any problem like this. Hard to accept it in one of the TOP pioneer mixer and hard to trust in this equipment as a main mixer in night club. I mean, even if something wrong with drivers on computer or on the firmware on the mixer it never ever could stuck the mixer to work as a mixer, not using the audio device. The built in audio device should be treat as a separate stuff to never get trouble with the mixer if something goes wrong on the "digital" connections.
Imagine whats gonna happen if when Djs on club shift and for some reason it happen. One thing is "ok the audio device is not working" then let's play real vinil or Cds, but in this case the mixer is totally useless.
As a consumer, pioneer fan and experienced Dj I can't wait to have an explanation from Pioneer about it and the solution to my problem as soon as possible.
Follows attached a quick video.
P.S: I guess it could be something wrong with the production of this product. Both of them had the serie number very close to each other made in January 2014.
Looking forward to hear from you again, thanks a million.
Engineers suggest that you first try flashing the firmware and if that doesn't correct the issue, you'll have to send it in for repairs, or return it to your place of purchase for exchange. Sorry!
Hi Pulse,
Already did the process over than 10 times. Upload by ethernet port, Success comes on the screen, power off... 10 seconds.. power on.. and I got the same update screen again.
Sorry, sounds like a hardware issue then. :(
