Pioneer please take note and act

Please could Pioneer make a video for the dim 2000 nexus covering these areas.

CDJ 200 NEXUS & DJM 2000 NEXUS + TRAKTOR PRO Setting up and config.

I and I'm not the only one are struggling to configure all this equipment with the thousands of options. There are lots of 900 Nexus videos but none for the DJM 2000 NEXUS.

I want to be shown how to configure the cables/ usb/ LAN / RCA so cds/ usb / and or tractor can be used during a set.

How to set up the DJM 2000 NEXUS / CDJs for best results and how to map the midi touch screen. This is the best mixer and one of the most expensive on the market however theres not much on how to set it up.

My intention is CDJ 1 = DECK A traktor = DJM Chanel 1 CDJ 2 = DECK B traktor = Chanel 4

Sample deck C = DJM Chanel 2 mapped to touch pad

Sample deck D = DJM Chanel 3 mapped to touch pad

Also all the sound card config, etc. I know this a lot to ask but it has been done for the DJM 900. Anyone ??????

honestly I think there would not be too much of a difference between the DJM900 and DJM2000 when setting up for traktor. I do not use Traktor but from what i tested in the past is the CDJ's are the sound cards for tractor so the mixer is irrelevant. just run rcas from the CDJ to the desired DJM channel and run the USB cables from the CDJs to your laptop

as far as LAN, the main difference is the DJM2000 has a built in hub so the decks can be plugged right into them via ethernet cables from the CDJs to the DJM and DJM to your laptop, also rca cables from CDJ to DJM which you probably have hooked up already.

If you are using channel 1 and 4 the CDJ's must be set to be player 1 and player 4 if you want "on air" to work.

If you use a macbook I believe you have to set up a "aggregate" device in your sound/midi area so the CDJ's are seen as sound cards

again, I don't use Traktor all the time so I hope any of this advice/info helped.

Again thanks, I have spent all day trying to get this lot to work watching copious amounts of youtube and forum posts. I'm lost in aggregates, sound cards , and settings that seam to naturally work on the 900. What has happened, 2 x 1210s and a 2 channel mixer was fun!!!! this is rocket science!!!

I need a bloke from traktor one from pioneer and one from apple to come to my house and spend a week going throughout this mine field.

Cheers BriChi, I've just muddled my war through, I have the sounds playing all is good. I just need to learn how to map the midi pads.

I have another question but that is in another post in Rekordbox if you can help......Reference software
