I can and have done that with the roll effect on my DJM 900 (and 800 and 2000 in the past).

He could be using something else but I can mimic that 100% with the Roll.

you just need to turn the timing down on the roll

I have no djm...but i am planning to buy one. So i need to know which mixer can offer this effect.

Most Pioneer mixers have the ROLL effect but if you already have gear but are just itching to play like him, you might as well look at some effect units rather than buying a mixer.  The Pioneer EFX line and the new RMX have a lot of the popular effects from the DJM family.  Youtube Pioneer RMX1000 or the EFX1000 and look at demos and see if that works for you.

If you play around a lot with your effects then you should consider the DJM 2000 which is basically the DJM 800/900 but with a EFX 1000 in the middle.  In other words, a lot of effects.

Also look at the DJM 900 Nexus which is great for use with Traktor as well and comes with a lot of effects (including the ROLL).
