DJM-900srt Recording question

When I use my ddj-sx I can select mix and it records my main output. Is this not available with the 900srt? I have to run a cable out and then back into an unused channel? Asking because I am wondering if I am missing something, and there is an easier way so I don't lose a channel.

I have looked and there are none that I have found covering the topic. The guy in this video above is connecting thru USB to record, my USB is already running serato, I want to record in serato because I don't like having multiple programs running. If I put one channel to rec out will that allow me to record into serato? Because what I am thinking of doing is running a master or booth out to one of my channels and recording that channel in serato. And I am asking because I m at work and have a gig tonight so I am trying to trouble shoot before I get there

Looking for help as well I have DJM 900 SRT and CDJ 2000's. Before I was using the DDJ SX and would click record on serato DJ and it would work fine. With the DJM 900 Srt I've tried clicking record on "mix" "Channel 1,2,3,4" but nothing records. TIA
