DJM-900srt+nexus do NOT have a cut in adjustment like Pioneer stated.

So i bought the new DJM-900srt as an upgrade to my Rane Empath, because it needs to go in for some work and every weekend i am out at least one night.  For the last 6 months i have been really working on my turntablist game.  I am trying to get good enough to do battles.  Since i was upgrading and looking for a good scratch mixer i saw on pioneers official page that the dim-900 has a cut in adjustment (they have taken it off the website, but i have the screenshots).  This made me choose the 900srt over other mixers, as i was also thinking about the 2000 and rane sixty series.  If i had known i would have to spend extra money for a fader with cut adjustment i would have spent a little more and gotten a dim-2000.  It really hurts as a consumer that i spent WEEKS reading the stats and watching videos and deciding which mixer to get, since i also have an sl4 it didn't matter if it had serato or not i spent the extra money for ease of use.

At this point i am stuck with a 2300 dollar mixer that i have buyers remorse about, since i would have bought the 2000. its all i can think about.

I am hurt because i trusted the guys who made it to tell me the truth about this expensive product. Not once did they even say sorry, all i was told was ok, they will take it off the website. But what do i do? I know i could deal with it, but i just spent 2300 dollars, shouldn't i have what i want the most based on what they offer?  This is the most flagrant false advertising i have ever seen, but i am no lawyer.

I don't know what to do.... Does anyone have any ideas? and yes i am going to get an innofader, thats what i was planning on putting in the dim-2000 because it correctly stated it did not have a cut in adjustment.

thanks guys, i am so bummed i can't think straight

I would get in touch with someone at pioneer and ask them to cover the innofader cost.  If you have the screen captures and the proof of purchase (more for the date of purchase, I don't see how they could have a leg to stand on).

With that said, I hope you don't get your hopes up.  Pioneer has truly done nothing but disappoint a lot of us loyal customers for a few years now.

Best of luck!

I'm going to confirm with the engineers on this, but I believe this is simply a matter of the marketing team changing the website, possibly due to misinformation. I believe the fader itself is still adjustable by removing it to reveal the dial on the fader board (see the image you had posted - there is a circle with a small triangle at the bottom left of the fader module).

I don't have an SRT on hand to open and verify, but I've sent an email to the engineers for clarification.

Sorry for the delay in getting this to you -- the engineers have given me the following information to pass to you...

The DJM-900SRT does not provide users with the ability to adjust the crossfader cut. We will forward this ticket to Pioneer USA if you wish to return or refund this unit and the retailer does not accept it (please contact your retailer first).

It was likely a misunderstanding of features by the marketing team who posted the original specs to the website; the current webpage is correct.
