[SOLVED] Traktor time code with 900 Nexus

Hello,

I've been using from time to time the 900 Nexus in combination with Traktor using timecode (so withe the connected gear to the mixer). Since i installed the 850 driver i can not select in Traktor (in the output & input settings screen) the correct input & outputs (there should be normally something like DJM-900nexus out1 etc). At this moment i only have selections like 1 or 2 or ... . Time code is not working either anymore. I already completely uninstalled both Traktor and all drivers from Pioneer but nothing helps. 

So, has anyone experienced this already and has a good solution for it ?

Huh, so you can't see the DJM-850 settings utility on your computer?  Also what time code set-up are you using?

No, so what happened is :

  • installed 900 nexus utility 

  • worked for some time with it in combination with Traktor and timecode (cdj's)

  • installed 850 nexus utility

  • it works in internal mode but the input and outputs which show up in Traktor are only named "1" or "2" or ... and not "DJM-850Nexus Out1" or ...

  • same happened from that moment on with the 900 Nexus utility also --> in Traktor the inputs and outputs are not named correctly and timecode is not working anymore

  • uninstalled both 850 and 900 utility

  • reinstalled 900 utility --> same result

  • uninstalled 900 utility + traktor

  • reinstalled traktor + 900 utility --> same result

Let me look into this a bit more and get you an answer..  Also what are using for a laptop.

I'm using a Macbook Air (1.8 i5) - OSX 10.9.5

Any news on the problem ?

  1. Did you change the setting of MIXER OUTPUT to “TIMECODE CD/LINE” after reinstallation?

    　After you re-install the utility of each mixer, the setting is returned to the default, “TIMECODE PHONO”.

  2. Does the Settings Utility display that your computer and mixer are “Connected”?
