Hi,
I am new to the this world. I bought a Pioneer DDJ - Wego but when connected with my Macbook pro with OSX yosemite it doesn't seem to work.
I am using Virtual DJ 7. When i connect the console with my mac using the connecting cable the lights light up on the jog discs but no light on the cue and the play pause button.
I tried updating the firmware of the console but no luck.
Please help me get started with this.

Yosemite is new. There has been past issues with new OS's and Pioneer gear which have needed new drivers created/released (by Pioneer).
Try your setup with something that is not Yosemite. Also in the future, if you rely on your laptop for DJing, don't update your OS until Pioneer releases a driver or confirms if you need or don't need one for the OS you want to upgrade to. In this case, to my knowledge, there has been no comment yet.
@Aakash > As @walter_white notes, the WeGO is not yet supported under Yosemite. Please see the official Pioneer support document outlining the current status for each Pioneer DJ product with Yosemite.
