Can't get Mac OS X to recognize DJM-2000 as input device.

I have a Macbook Pro with OS X (Mountain Lion). I'm trying to record into Logic Pro 9. The units are connected via a USB cable. Within OSX, the software (both Mac and Logic Pro) cannot see the Pioneer mixer as an input device. It sees it as an output device only. I went to Pioneer's site to download and install the latest driver for Mac OS X. My Macbook recognizes the device on boot up.

Any idea how I can get it to show up in the Audio Input dropdown so I can make it the Default Input?

Thank you,

Mike

Thanks. I wonder why the tech support at Pioneer wouldn't have suggested this rather than just push me off to Apple. He gave me 60 seconds of his time after waiting 45 minutes on hold. I made the change. Now the Mac OS X 'audio' tab in System Preferences will allow me to change to DJM2000 as default input, but Logic Pro still isn't giving me the mixer as an input option. Thanks for any additional assistance you can provide.

I'm assuming you meant configuring the drive for 6/2 mode, correct? I went into the mixer to change the sample rate as suggested in the video, but still no luck.
