DJM800 Risk of Electric Shock

I am currently having issues with my DJM800 mixer, which has a high voltage present on parts of the casing when in use. I have taken readings using a voltage meter and there is 120vac present on the bare metal parts of the mixer and on the screw heads etc.

The power chord supplied is a two pin plug and doesn't include an earth pin. The mixer is therefore not connected to earth. It was purchased in the uk, which is where i live. The power supply here is 240vac.

Is it possible to have the mixer repaired somehow?

@Steve > Do you possibly have the polarity of the plug reversed? Does the problem exist when there is nothing else connected to the mixer?

The polarity of the plug is correct. I am using a moulded plug and have tried several. There is no external equipment connected to the mixer. If i ground the mixer, the issue is resolved. The mixer was sold without an earth pin and shouldn't require modification to resolve the issue. I want to know the reason for this fault and if it is safe to use. I wish to sell the mixer on but cannot do so if there is a risk of it causing harm to somebody.
