Just checking that you've made sure the balance knob is centered?
Hi there, I upgraded to the DJM 700 from the DJM 400, and I'm experiencing an issue with the master out channel, the right side is louder than the left, I thought it first it may be a cable problem, and have swapped them over, also tried using channels 3 and 4 just in case it may be a fault with one of the up faders... I've tested both my CD players which are the CDJ 850 K's, and they both seem fine as both register the same volume at the same level on channels 1, and 2...

It is yeah, it's also displaying it on the master outputs light on the mixer as the green light is always higher than the left...
This has been one of those things that has popped-up over the years and there doesn't seem to be a solid answer for why it happens, but there's nothing wrong with your mixer and the best solution is to simply adjust the balance a bit to the left to compensate. You could go so far as to have the balance pot recalibrated, but it's probably not worth it for the small amount of difference in the signal.
Dry solder joints on the board perhaps. Definitely not acceptable and something is wrong with your mixer
