I've just bought a faulty djm 800 from a friend and am trying to find the source of the problem before it ends up in bits or if its worth getting repaired before costs start mounting up?!
I'm getting an output/volume from the mixer and all the faders are working fine, but the eq knobs and the master volume knob have very little or no effect on the mixer at all?.
any ideas?

well we can't provide too much tech info here on repairs, keep in mind some of the main boards cost up to $200 so the cost would be in that area "IF" if it a physical problem
Are you using the XLR Main Outs on the back? How is everything hooked up and what are all your settings on the top and back
