Hi guys, I am a user of Pioneer DDJ-T1's. My question is can the RMX-1000 be used with this and traktor? I am pretty new to the digital DJ scene and I dnt want to end up buying stuff for the sake of it! For example I have purchased Novation launchpad and have no clue how to use it with Ableton. The RMX-1000 looks amazing but I onnly want it if it can be used with my kit I have. Maybe there is another option for me, if so does anyone know it?

Looking for some help.
I recently purchased an RMX 1000 my current setup is 2 x CDJ 2000's a DJM 800 and 2 x Alesis powered Monitors.
I have tried to setup the RMX via the send and returns on the mixer to the RMX but when I set it S&R on the mixer firstly it only plays out of the left speaker and the volume is also controlled via the level / depth control??
What am I doing wrong help is greatly appreciated

Hi Brent I'm not particulary technical but i would try some other cables as it could be that causing the issue
@Paul > The RMX is not included in the recording audio signal as the mixing is done "internally" on the laptop and by the time it reaches the RMX its already been recorded. What you would need to do is record from the Master Output of your controller.
@Brent > First, are you sure you have the cables connected up correctly? Secondly, have you tried a different set of cables? Thirdly, are you assigning the RMX to an individual channel or the Master? If an individual channel, does that play correctly when not using the RMX?

I think I do basically 4 x Individual cables going from the S/R's on the RMX to the S/R's on the DJM800
This only plays out of the main output when I select the S/R from the output on the mixer but as soon as I do that it only gives output on the left speaker and controls the volume
Do you or anyone have a correct setup vid or picture / drawing they could show me
@Brent > Ok, it sounds like you've a general grasp of things. You'll need two cables going from the mixers Return to the effects unit Output - match up the left and right accordingly. Similarly, the other two cables go in the input and send options. Then, change the FX selector on the Mixer to S/R - assigning the effect on the mixer to whatever channel you want (or the master) and ensure you have the FX engage button turned on (flashing) on the mixer.
