[SOLVED] Use 'Roll'-button to sample sound

In the X-Pad FX section, there is this 'ROLL' button. But I somehow didn't figure out hot to use this 'guy' to sample some part of the music coming from the mixer.

There are two options.

Option 1: Check to ensure OVERDUB button is not illuminated. Press the ROLL button. Touch the X-Pad and swipe your finger across the pad. The sample will only play once you touch the pad.

Option 2: Check to ensure OVERDUB button is illuminated. Press the ROLL button. Touch the X-Pad and swipe your finger across the pad. The sample will continue to repeat until you turn off the OVERDUB button or delete the roll.
