@Ron > Are you loading it to the other channel? Is it that you've got the gains set differently for each channel? Do you have the auto-gain enabled (within the Itch seettings)?
Problem periodically when I load the same song that is live. I get a boost in volume of the live channel? I tried it several times thinking maybe I hit the cross fader. Not the case. Could someone respond or recommend a solution.
thanks
Ron

Good morning Pulse...
thanks for responding so quickiy! i do have the auto gain engaged. however, the gains on each channel are set the same. it is a surge of gain when i load the same track in cue as the live track. i tried reviewing all the settings. i returned the unit for a replacement. it only happened once in a 3 hour set last night. i will try to disengage the auto gain?
appreciate any additional thoughts. i know now it must be something inherit with itch.
be well
Ron
How come no split headphone cueing like all the other Pioneer mixers? And is there a flight case.... These are major deal breakers for me
Why is it that you must reset your fx settings each time you boot up "itch"?
@Ron > Yeah, you should certainly try it with the auto-gain disabled and see if that makes a difference. As for the effects, you should make that comment to Serato, although it may be on their changes list for 2.0.
@jojo > In future, please post unrelated questions to a new article. There's no split-cue, not all mixers have it, not even all Pioneer mixers, especially not 2ch mixers. There is a soft-bag coming from Pioneer in July and there are several hard case options from other case manufacturers.
@Pioneer DJ: Excuse me BUT this WAS a related question specifically for this DDJs1.
And My 2 channel DJM100 does have split mixing. do your homework.. Sorry, but you should really pay attention to your customers and not just blow me off, I have been DJing since 1975. Now you can delete my screen name. And delete this message 'cause you certainly don't want someone to point out your mistake, I probably know more about Pioneer gear than you do. ciao
@jojo > I'm sorry, yes, it is a DDJ-S1 related post, but the original poster was asking about volume level. Your post is regarding split-cueing and cases. In order to provide better support for the users, both yourself and the original poster, we request that you post a new article rather than reply to someone else's thread as the conversation regarding your issue may take over the original conversation and then that user would potentially get frustrated trying to find their answer.
As I said, not all Pioneer mixers have split cue: DJM-500, DJM-707, DJM-909 are just 3. And there's no DJM-100, unless you simply typo'd "1000". There's no need to get into an argument about this; I'm not trying to win, just point out that not all mixers feature split-cueing and for whatever reason, Pioneer decided not to add it to the S1.
