DDJ-T1 issues with sound dropping out

You're not alone my friend. I also have the same issues with my current set-up. Using Traktor 2.1.1 and an Core2duo 2Ghz 4GB RAM.

1.Sound dropping when changing effects the first time from switching ON but never drops after.

1. Delay on Tempo Sliders when changing tempos after loading a new track.

Haven't found any solution yet. What I do is just run tests on the whole controller after being powered ON then it runs fine.

Regarding the sliders on the software, I was looking for it too along with the CUE type selector interface when I upgraded. Just discovered it by clicking/double clicking on the long black/track signature area on each decks will show you the sliders and other missing interfaces. Hope this helps!

Disable WiFi adapter and uninstall antivirus software.

Downgrade Traktor to version 2.0.3

Kenichi: 2) loaded track not analyzed 

1) Open a new profile or User under windows, 

2)Login as New User,  Open Task Manager,

3) Open Run Command type Msconfig. and then disable anything that is not needed e.g (itunes, virus protector, etc) in the task bar manager,

4) Reboot and then login as New User, see if you still have same problem

@Gordon Feeny > Are you running the latest drivers, updates, and firmware on your entire system? Please double check all the necessary files on Pioneer's website to ensure everything is up to date.

@Azu > I wouldn't advise someone to uninstall their antivirus software, only disable it if need be. ;)

Many thanks to all those who have offered advice and made suggestions. A few things I can certainly try. I did have Mcafee AV installed and running so I've created a new profile and have disabled that plus wireless, NIC drivers, etc.Will see how that goes.

I am using the latest Traktor driver but may consider rolling back to an earlier version of Traktor if disabling the various resources has no effect. I had noticed, as Kenichi mentioned, that triggering effects after loading Traktor seems to help although having to do that (and  remembering to do it!) with over a grand's worth of kit and software is, to put it mildly, a bit irritating. I'll bear in mind track analysis though the next time I'm desperately trying to get my fader working before having to drop the tune in :) I had, however, done a full re-analysis before my last gig and still had a problem.

I had also come across the suggestion of double-clicking the track title bar previously. Still no software tempo faders though. Maybe this just affects the Pioneer version as that tip seems to work for the full version.

P.S. Anyone got the Traktor Bible? Is it a good investment?

Thought I'd just provide an update on one of my problems - the missing tempo faders. Having created a new XP profile I re-installed Traktor 2.2.1 and, lo and behold, the faders are back. I'm wondering if this is due to having installed the previous version then the latest version over the top using the same XP profile. Will experiment further.

Hi there, I recently treated myself to a T1 last week and after a couples of days playing about using Traktor I had no issues. I then upgraded to Traktor 2 and now I have sound dropping out issues. Ok so my laptop may be the issue as its only got 2gb RAM and 1.8ghz but was fine running on Traktor 1 until I wnet to 2.

Gonna try it back with 1 again although I did notice an update on pioneer site for driver to increase buffer size so maybe this helps.

Just wondered if you guys have sorted your issues,

@Richard > Others have had similar issues on the forums and I believe they have solved the problem with changing the latency within Traktor itself. Give it try and hopefully that will solve the issue. :) 

@Richard > As Foster suggests, play with the latency settings within the Traktor audio settings and this should resolve your issue.
