One more thing. When I asked for tracking number of the package, they say that they do not use tracking numbers. I have never seen anything like this. Obviously they do not use tracking numbers because there is nothing to ship to begin with

FolgenRebate Issues with DDJ SC1. Impossible to get the rebate!
I understand that Pioneer uses outside company to do rebates but this is ridiculous. My rebate has been "processed" and to be exact:

I contacted rebate company via chat (they don't have a phone number for a reason)In short this is the outcome. I am skipping all the lies/reasons why it hasn't been shipped.
10/14/11 - I was told to wait two more days to receive the shipment - Of course it didn't show
10/18/11 - I was told that it will take additional 30 days to process it - WHY????? ok Im like whatever
11/22/11 - I was told that my situation is "escalated" LOL and it will take up to 10 business days GUESS WHAT???? NOTHING
12/09/11 - I explained again advising them that I have all the requests documented (which I do) and I was told First the SAME EXACT THING as on 10/18/11 and when I told them that they responded AGAIN THE SAME EXACT AUTO REPLY "situation is "escalated" and it will take up to 10 business days" I answered that i this is the same exact response as i got on 11/22 so the chat person/robot switched it to 15 days
I got plenty of rebates from other companies. example I got Canon's $400 MIR in 4 weeks and the "expected processing time was 8 weeks)
I did ressearch on the company and I noticed that this company is known for doing horrible business practices. I am sure that Pioneer is aware of this situation because it is impossible for them not to know about the problems.
What convinced me to buy S1 was the rebate bag but I feel like this rebate was a big scam.
This post is for everyones information how the company that Pioneer hired works and if you count on the bag/headphones/whatever pioneer is "giving" , dont count on it because you will not get it. It is obvious its a scam. I will be contacting BBB as soon as I am finish with this post.
I am also almost confident that this will never get published on pioneer board because it will tarnish the image of the company. Guess what? It is not my fault that Pioneer do not supervise their contractors or its with them for this scam all along.

Sorry to hear about this, I'll grab your email address from your forum profile and send it down to the US office to see if they can investigate.
@Pulse, I agree with you and that is why I wrote it here because obviously the company that is contracted do not care and I know Pioneer cares about their reputation.

Pulse, I'm dealing with something similar. I'm willing to be patient, but at the same time, it seems like it will be sloughed off.
I'm at just about two months since my rebate was out to be shipped.

Same here, my rebate was sent around September 20th, I received the same response as Shemeck, received 10/13/2011, allow 30days for delivery... been waiting patiently... but getting very frustrated
@Pulse I used a different email address for my rebate than the one I use to post on the forum. I can provide the other email address, if needed, I really just want an update on whats going on.

I agree with him. I have the same problem. I still havent received my bag, even after talking to pioneer support.

This situation is really irritating. I dont like to start getting smart because that leads to nowhere but anyway... since I have not received (and from what it seems I wont) the bag and Pioneer itself advertised the bag on a Rebate form with the value of MSRP $299 (not simply free bag) , the same rebate which I completed and has been "approved" by rebate company and I have not received it to this day... Wouldn't this qualify as item not as described/missing parts when I file a claim with credit card company? I bet there is a tiny disclaimer on that form that Pioneer has nothing to do with it and I am sure that is how this situation going to end with "pioneer cant control outside company or post office, please contact post office or the rebate processing center. thread closed"
Normally I wouldn't be fighting for a piece of bag, that probably cost $10 to make but it is really upsetting to advertise the bag for MSRP of 300 on rebate form and not to deliver later on.
MSRP = Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price, that does not imply that they are giving you a $300 bag nor equivalent value in cash.

They have been in contact with the company to sort out the delays and the bags should be delivered shortly.
And honestly, I dont think i have anything else to add besides this is disappointing
