remove the battery and use the laptop with the power adapter only. play some music and observe if the "cuts" are still there... in my case... dissapeared.
Before trying a battery removal, try adjusting the latency settings for the audio interface -- step them up notch-by-notch until you no longer hear the clicks in playback. See this thread (post #669) for more information on tweaking your system.
Hi Guys, tks for the answers, i am going to check the post#669 and i let u know what happen.
tks again.
OK. Good luck.
As a hint, I had the same problem with my setup, and I checked the system with a latency monitor software (DPC Latency Checker) and it revealed that I had peaks (red bars) once at 15 seconds (with the battery ON). After researching the internet I read somewhere that the battery may cause the peaks so I removed the battery. Rechecked the system... and NO peaks at all (of course, no audio pops/cracks were present in the sound either, as before). It may have been an isolated problem, with my system/drivers related to the battery and it may not apply to another system, so it's best to check all the possibilities.
hi guys, after this time i was checking the problems and pulse was right, i adjusted the latency notch and work better the sound... but i have a problem because i have to leave the notch almost in the end of the scale, and the latency is bigger, and sometimes when i press hot cue or play etc takes time to work (of course is not longer, but enough to trouble when u r mixing) how can i fixed this?? i need to install some driver or something like that or is more problem from my computer and i have to live with this??
tks for u time and help
@Juan > Is that the first point at which the audio is clean and without pops, crackles or skips? If you're able to choke it back a bit and lower the latency, that delay will go away.
Sounds like a Faktory bumbt Laptop,
what is http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml talking about your machin?
Did you Read and follow this thread from NI ?

Check your "Energie Settings" - you need headroom to Run Traktor nicely.
i´m Runing my DDJ-T1 with an HP ProBook 4720s (i5 m480) and 8 gig RAM without any Problems ....
Latence is near 192ms
[ot] we need the Edit button :D [/ot]
Buffersettings 192 m
Latency=4,2ms
hi mates, tks for the info, i will check all your comments
tks again
... but i remember a Time, i think it was Traktor 2.1.x the day after my session wich i recordet. The WAV file that i has playd was crackling, iv playd the Track on Windows mediaplayer with non problems but my old frind VLC drops some extra cuts in there.
If the File was Analysd by a sound Editor like Sony Soundforg (wich i Prefrere of cours) the wave file as once was Fully Clean so i think that VLC has made some misstakes.
no prob Juan :)
:)
Hello there... i have some problems with my T1...
Well i got it from almost 1 year and used with WIN 7 32bits and now i have to install win and i got win xp home edition CLEAN (with all updates).
The problems has come once with the "new" windows... sound dropout a lot with the Pioneer ASIO driver after i click Setup Wizard because with Pioneer DDJ Driver doesnt work fine with Master out and Phones out! (cant set this 2).
Ok... i read somewhere that i must deactived WIFI to not have dropout and i did this and worked but when i haved Win7 didnt have this problem. Ok i dont need that but i still got other problem... Traktor track freez for a 1-2ms...
Does anyone know how to fix this? I mean ...i want wifi on without dropout and freez. I have lattency set on 128 with...30ms (i think) and i`m still not happy!
can anyone help me please? Tell me what is the good lattency that i must set (higher or lower) and what to use Asio for ALL or just the driver that comes with T1 ?
What are the best or good settings that i must do!?
Thank a lot guys ! Hope u will answer till ... this night because i must work and...hope that i will not have problems anymore..!
HI Ludian Ddj Alin,
Did you Checkd up this Little helper here ?

you have to disable some usles Background Services like WMPnetwork.
If you Setup your Machin with the Clean Windows did you installed the Newest Drivers for your chipsets also (ore did they Windows install) ? Make sure you Use Manufakture Driver on your System cause the MIcrosoft Publisher Driver works also but they are not highly recommend Specialy the USB Drivers ore PCIe bus Drivers mostly from INTEL.
Why did you Setup your Asio to 128 ? The Defaults are 256, so if you gut Dropouts it could be due this to Low Value.
Set it up with 192 (my preffred Setting and works with 4,9ms)
I hope you can fix your Problem :)
