You are doing nothing wrong - I have the same set up. What you are trying to do though with regards to sound through Mac and Headphones can not be done I believe. I have tried numerous configurations to no avail. Regarding the 1 second delay, I think there is always a little latency but I believe this delay can be altered using the config set up in VDJ

FolgenDDJ ERGO Issue and Question... Please Help!
Hi Guys,
This is my first post so apologies if this issue has been answered in another topic... I have just picked up a DDJ Ergo and have it connected to a Mid 2011 imac. I was hoping that i could have the master output from the ERGO playing through my mac speakers and still be able to cue up tracks on my headphones but i cant seem to get this working with VDJ.
I can get master output from the mac and nothing from the headphones or vice versa but never together.
Additionally ive tried plugging in to my Sony TV using RCA which plays the master output if i change config to use ERGO soundcard and i can then cue tracks but there is a 1 second delay in the output from the TV and what i hear in the headphones so its impossible to mix.
Ive watched Pulse's setup video and believe i have everything setup as it should be but im a little disappointed right now. Can anyone help?!
Thanks in Advance.

Hi Kieran,
yeah I gave up in the end. I was told by several places before purchasing that it could be done but guess they were misinformed.
I have now purchased some cheap active external speakers and these are working great (this has also resolved the latency issue, so I guess that must have been sound processing being done by my home cinema system and causing a delay).
Otherwise im really happy with the product.
@Carl > If you want to force the master audio to come out the computer speakers, go to the Advanced mode (in Pro) and set it so the souncdard is configured to send the headphone output to the ERGO and the master output to the built-in soundcard.
