Just double checked and it seems it is the HDJ 2000s that have a grounding issue I believe when in the unit, my other headphones as i found out were busted, I still have not received warranty support and I am wondering how is this fixed?

Folgen[CLOSED] DDJ SX headphones problem
hello, I have a Pioneer DDJ SX, I have the latest firmware and have the same problem with all headphones and pcs, my headphone outs on the unit do not function properly, I hear crazy distortion on the headphones like the HPF is on 80% and its quiet or it doesn't work altogether. My best equipment I tested on was Pioneer HDJ 2000's and 2012 Macbook Pro 15'. I found out that I can make it work if I stick a screw driver in a certain distance of the larger headphone port, or if the headphone is sticking outside the clicked in area, which fall off with the slightest movement. like in the pictures below. If the screw driver is too far it stops altogether, if its too short it's distorted, there is a perfect length it has to reach to work. I thought I could just simply unscrew the three screws and look at the problem, but I don't even know how to open the unit, it just wont come off. I contacted support a couple days ago and I received no response, any help would be appreciated!

it seems like a grounding issue, as if I connect another pair of headphones in the other port as well it makes the HDJ start working.
I also have a headphone issue. My port for my headphone went out at an event. I have HJD 2000 and HDJ 1000 and a pair of 1200 turntables connected to the DDJ SX. I went from CH2 (turntable) to CH3 (ran through a MAC). I have not had any issues prior to this. Now I have no sound through either the 1/8 or 1/4 port. Thank you in advance.
I have a brand new DDj SX and I never got anything from the headphones. this is a disgusting issue!!! I get no feedback from support, this seems to be a issue with this model. Pioneer should ensure the thery send us prompt replacements.
I cant believe this its too expensive for us to be going through this bull...
Lawton. Im getting the same thing at my ddj sx! Frustration is the right word to describe it. Theres a lot of people in the exactly same situation. Headphones out is dead and no answer at all from pioneer. For me its worse, because im from Brazil and have to import the unit, i even dont know if i can repair it here if i have to. I have payed almost U$1700 at that unit.
Without more information there is not a lot I can do. As you are all describing slightly different problems, I'd ask that you each please start your own new thread if you still require assistance with this matter.
