@Jon > Its likely a problem when using VDJ. The easy solution is to check if it performs as normal when using Serato. If it does, then the problem is with the software and not the hardware.

FolgenDDJ SX Crossfader
Hope someone can help.
I have just sold my DDJ SX and ugraded to CDJs. The person who brought the DDJ SX is now saying there is an issue with the crossfader where it when it is pushed over to the left it moves slightly back again bringing in the sounds from the right hand channel. I neve had this issue when I was using it, which I was doing regularly.
He has said he is using Virtual DJ for some reason, does anyone know if this is a software fault or a hardware fault or how I can fix it? If I do need to replace the part is this easy to do?
Any help would be appreciated.

I just developed that same problem. I have been using my DDJ SX with Virtual DJ 7 as well for several months and set up for my New Years gig last night and it started doing the exact same thing. I downloaded Virtual DJ 8 and Serato DJ and it continued to happen with them. I even reinstalled Virtual DJ 7 and done updates on the Pioneer website. Done updates on my laptop as well. Updated Java and still the same thing. Now I think it's hardware, so I'm pricing cross faders now! 419-810-2242 Travis
